Steel & General Cargo

Sheerness handles a significant amount of general cargo and provides berthing facilities for O&M vessels supplying and maintaining offshore wind farms – including cargo and equipment handling, crew changeovers and cabling from ship to shore and vice versa.

The port's plant and equipment can lift up to 80 tonnes capacity and is capable of receiving regular palletised, bagged and project cargoes.
